Puzzle
Tinker Town Workshop
★★★★☆ 4.1
Tinker Town Workshop hands you a workbench and a goal, then leaves you to figure out the how. Each level is a little machine you assemble from gears, belts and switches to get an object from A to B. It scratches the same itch as those old physics puzzlers.
The difficulty curve is friendly early and gets genuinely tricky by the middle chapters. There's usually more than one solution, and the game quietly celebrates clever ones. I liked that it never locked me out with hint paywalls or timers.
It's a great commute game because levels are bite-sized and it all works offline. The only downside is the last chapters get a touch repetitive.
What we liked
- Multiple solutions per puzzle
- No timers or hint gates
- Bite-sized offline levels
